ONE of the stars of the Worcestershire Rapids' 2023 Vitality Blast campaign, Usama Mir, has been picked to represent the Manchester Originals in The Hundred.
Mir, who played throughout the T20 campaign, will play for the Originals in the competition that begins at the start of August.
The Pakistan international leg-spinner took 19 wickets for the Rapids during the tournament and also averaged 44 runs with the bat, showing he can be a useful all-rounder for Manchester.
Mir will join Worcestershire bowler Josh Tongue in the Originals squad for the tournament.
