FORMER Worcester Warriors and Wasps fly-half Billy Searle has signed a short-term contract with French Top 14 champions Toulouse as cover during the Rugby World Cup.
Searle, 27, spent a short time with Bath following his release from Worcester after the club went into administration but has been without a club since.
He has now been signed by European heavyweights Toulouse on a Medical Joker contract for the start of the 2023/24 season as cover during the Rugby World Cup.

The former Wasps and Bristol Bears player was signed by Worcester back in 2020 under director of rugby Alan Solomons.
He went on to play 44 times for the Warriors, scoring 197 points in his time at Sixways.
Searle did feature for the Barbarians at the end of May in their exhibition match vs Swansea RFC.
But now he joins Toulouse just a month or so after the French club won their 22nd Top 14 title following a dramatic final win over La Rochelle.
