WORCESTER City have confirmed that full-back Logan Stoddart has joined the club, linking up with former Worcester Raiders manager Chris Cornes at Claines Lane.
As the fresh faces continue to flood through the door at City, Stoddart joins the likes of Robbie Thompson-Brown, Adam Mace, Calvin Dinsley and Kirk Layton in signing up for the 2023/24 Hellenic League Premier campaign.
Logan will also be reunited with boss Cornes, after the pair played a key role in helping Raiders climb through the levels before both departed in the 2020/21 season.
Stoddart played for Danny Janes' Pershore side in the 2022/23 title-winning campaign but admitted the chance of joining City was one he could not turn down.
"After working with Chris in the past it was an easy decision for me to take the opportunity to sign here at City," he said.
"I’m looking forward to finally being able to wear Worcester City’s blue and white colours. Getting the chance to play for your local team growing up doesn’t come around very often."
Cornes added: "I’ve had the pleasure of working with Logie before and know what he will bring to the team on and off the pitch.
"He had a fantastic season winning the league and various other cups at Pershore where he was vice-captain. He’s Mr 100% commitment, which will show on the pitch.
"He’s an infectious character and great in the dressing room. Also he’s a brilliant defender one-on-one and communicates really well across the backline."
