ACADEMY bowlers at Worcestershire were treated to a unique coaching session from one of the greatest international bowlers of his era.
Mushtaq was pictured with a number of the bowlers at New Road on Monday afternoon, taking a specialist session under the shadow of the Worcester Cathedral.
Saqlain Mushtaq played test and ODI cricket for Pakistan between 1995 and 2004, taking almost 500 wickets across both formats. He also made history when he became the first Pakistani to take a hat-trick at a Cricket World Cup, which he did against Zimbabwe during the 1999 tournament.

He has since gone on to coach the Pakistan national side, as well as being involved in the England set-up between 2016-17 as a spin bowling consultant. Mushtaq also played in England during his career, turning out for both Surrey and Sussex in the County Championship.
He is now the assistant coach of the New Zealand ODI side but he made time to visit Worcestershire and spend some time with the Academy bowlers.
