DROITWICH Amateur Boxing Club were represented by two of their biggest talents at the recent England Boxing School Championships.
Leo Jones and Cameron Doe both won their categories to become Midland School Champions, then going on to the Semi-Finals down in Guilford.
Jones fought in the 2010 under 28kg category and Doe in the 2010 under 60kg.
Unfortunately, it was not meant to be and they both lost their bouts to strong opponents, but both went the full three rounds and did their club, family and friends proud in front of a big audience.
Coach Billy Jones said: "We could not have asked more from either Cameron or Leo, they did both the club and themselves proud."
Droitwich Amateur boxing club have their home show on Saturday July 1 at Droitwich Spa Football ground. Gates open from 1230. This will be the first home show in 10 years. Come down and support some of our young boxers showcasing their skills.
