WORCESTERSHIRE'S Adam Hose is hoping that the County Championship win over Leicestershire over the weekend will give the side confidence heading into the start of the Vitality Blast this week.
Hose scored 84 in a valuable 131-run partnership with Gareth Roderick as the Pears claimed the win over Leicestershire by three wickets at New Road.
Attentions now turn to the white ball game for the next 10 days, with the Rapids starting the campaign at Northamptonshire Steelbacks on Wednesday before home games with Yorkshire Vikings (May 26) and Leicestershire Foxes (May 29).
Hose is hopeful the win over Leicestershire will give them the boost they need to enjoy a more successful Blast season than last year.
Hose said: "As a squad, it should give us a real nice boost heading in the Blast. Hopefully, the arrival of a few overseas players into the team will give us some good experience again.
"But overall, it should give us fantastic confidence going into the next few weeks.
"I try not to change too much from format to format, just clear my mind and see the ball, hit the ball. It’s something I’ve worked really hard on.
"I haven’t given the white ball game too much thought. I’ve been focusing on the red ball skills but really excited for the next couple of weeks, that’s for sure."
