THE Worcestershire FA Senior Cup Final takes place on Tuesday evening, with Stourport Swifts going up against higher-level Redditch United at Bromsgrove Sporting's Victoria Ground.
Redditch, as the Step 3 side, go into the contest as clear favourites but were on the other end of a shock in last season's cup when Step 6 Pershore, three levels below, beat The Reds 3-2.
As for Stourport, they beat Kidderminster Harriers to reach the final and come into the clash on the back of a really strong campaign in the Midland Football League Premier.
Quentin Townsend's side sit seventh in the table but have been in and around the top five or six for a large proportion of the season and were even second at one stage around Christmas.
So they will no doubt pose a significant threat to Matt Clarke's men on Tuesday as they look to win the competition for the first time in their history.
As for Redditch, they were the first team to win the competition back in 1893/94 and last won it back in 2013/14. In between those two trophies, they have won the tournament another five times.
Kick-off at The Victoria ground is at 7.45PM and tickets are available on the gate so there is no need to book, just turn up.
