PERSHORE Town have secured promotion to Step 5 after their 8-0 thrashing of Moreton Rangers saw them clinch the Hellenic League Division One title on Thursday night.
Danny Murphy scored a hat-trick and goals from Matt Nutt, Aidan Clark (2), Jake Donnely and James Baldwin capped off a totally dominant performance from Danny Janes' men, who have wrapped up the league title with three games to spare.

The convincing victory was the 28th of the season and the five goals scored takes them to 117 for the season, having only conceded 24 in the process.
And having missed out on promotion last season after only half a year in charge, Janes and his coaching team have completed what they set out to do at the start of the season; win the league title.
And a big part of that has been manager Danny Janes, who received a huge ovation from the clubhouse at full-time.
"Just feel a massive amount of joy for the club, I have always said that we would win this league and I knew we would," said a very happy Janes.
"This win is for all of us, the players, the coaches but all the people behind the scenes as well. Tonight is about them. We are just over the moon.
"It all comes together and it was fitting tonight for it to finally arrive. We will enjoy this feeling but then we still have a season to finish and more trophies to win so plenty more to come from us."
