THE Worcester Marathon is now in its 12th year and entries are open for the 2023 edition of the big race raising money for St Richards Hospice.
The event will stage both the full and half marathon on Sunday May 21, with a 10K race also taking place at the same time.
Both longer race distances start at 9:30AM in Offerton Lane. Registration opens at 7.30AM in the morning of the race at Worcester RFC.
The Full Marathon takes in two laps of the loop around beautiful rural lanes, whilst the half accompanies the full for the first lap before splitting away at 11 miles and heading back to the finish.
All marathon and half marathon finishers receive a 2023 quality bespoke medal and a T-shirt. 10K finishers will receive a medal and the race starts at 10AM.
A statement from the race organisers said: "Again for 2023 we’re proud to be supporting St Richard’s Hospice.
"Some of the entry fee goes towards this fantastic Worcester Charity but many of you go the extra “mile” and help raise sponsorship money for this great cause, you can also make a contribution on the entry form if you wish."
