IT has been a brilliant season for the former Worcester City forward, who scored his 18th goal of the season for Portsmouth on Saturday.
Colby Bishop is in fine form for new club Portsmouth following his move from Accrington Stanley last summer.
Bishop, who scored eight goals in 26 apperances for City back in the 2016/17 season in the National League North, scored goal number 17 and 18 on Saturday as Portsmouth kept their play-off hopes alive in League One with a 2-0 win over Bristol Rovers.

The two-goal display prompted Pompey manager John Mousinho to point out the forward for some personal praise.
"Colby (Bishop) was brilliant. He gave their back line a really tough time, and that’s what we know about him. He’s also mobile and he scores goals. We were practicing penalties yesterday and we said it would be nice to get one. He deserved it."

After spending six years in the non-league game, Bishop got his professional move when he joined Accrington Stanley for the 2019/20 season.
He scored 39 goals in 123 appearances for Accrington before Portsmouth saw off competition from Championship side Blackpool to sign him in the summer of 2022.
And now he is in the form of his career. Bishop, this season, has the best conversion rate and minutes-per-goal ratio of any striker in League One, as well as having a 64% shot accuracy, which is also the best in the league.
His performances have kept Portsmouth in the conversation for a play-off place. Pompey sit in ninth currently, eight points outside the top six but they do have a game in hand with nine games left of the 2022/23 campaign.
