Pershore Town’s manager is gearing up for a cup final unlike any other he has faced before.
Danny Janes’ side will take on Mangotsfield in the final of this season’s Wiseman Lighting Floodlit Cup.
However, the tie will be played over two legs, a fresh challenge for Janes.
He said: “After the success of last season, we are used to cup final preparations and the mindset that needs to be adopted.
“I have never been involved in a two-legged final, only in a two-legged semi-final as a player.”

The first leg takes place this Tuesday away at Mangotsfield’s Paul Sellick Brickwork Stadium.
Despite the change of format, Janes is approaching the clash as he would any other.
“The mentality is simply to win both games,” he added.
“We won’t be going to Mangotsfield to come back on level terms ready for the second leg at our place, we are going there to win.”

The Plums went to Longlevens in the last round of the cup, returning to Worcestershire with a 4-1 win and a place in the final.
The goals have continued to flow since, with an 8-0 hammering of Littleton among their four consecutive wins.

Meanwhile, Pershore's cup-final opposition conquered Malvern Town 2-1 in the semi-finals.
Since then, Mangotsfield have suffered mixed results with a 2-0 win away at Tuffley Rovers sandwiched between losses to Herefords Pegasus and Roman Glass St George to start the month.
The Mangos are a league above Pershore and so Janes knows that despite their fluctuating form, his side will need to be at their best to come away with the trophy.
Janes said: “Myself and Tom (Milward, assistant manager) watched them last week and they have picked up some impressive results, the Malvern Town victory demonstrating the level of performance they can produce.
“We will need to be very good on the night, we are looking forward to the challenge against higher-ranked opposition yet again.”
The first leg kicks off at 7.45pm on Tuesday, March 14, with the second coming in a weeks’ time at the Community Stadium, also a 7.45pm kick off.
