With Cheltenham Festival beginning on Tuesday, March 14 and ending on Friday, March 17, here’s the weather for those days, according to the Met Office.
Tuesday, March 14
The weather on Tuesday in Cheltenham is expected to be clear before becoming cloudy in the afternoon.
There will be sunny intervals in the morning and at midday.
Temperatures on Tuesday are expected to reach 7C with the lowest thought to be 2C.
Wednesday, March 15
On Wednesday, racegoers can expect to see some light rain by midday lasting into the afternoon and evening.
The day will be a cloudy one overall and temperatures will be similar to Tuesday with the highest being 8C and lowest expected to be 1C.
Thursday, March 16
Racing enthusiasts could need an extra layer on Thursday with light rain expected.
After midday though, the sun will try to make an appearance in between light rain showers.
Temperatures will range from 10C to 13C, making it a bit warmer than the start of the week.
Friday, March 17
Those attending the event on Friday can expect to see overcast skies with light showers in the afternoon and a heavy rain shower at around 3pm, however, the sun will attempt to make an appearance from behind the clouds.
Temperatures are expected to be similar to Thursday with the highest being 13C and the lowest being 9C.
