ONE of the county's brightest talents in the sport of darts will represent England next month.
Worcestershire Youth Darts player Hannah Meek has been picked to represent England girls in the British Internationals, which will be played at the Golden Palm Resort in Chapel St. Leonards from the 21st-23rd April 2023.
Meek, 16, plays for the Worcestershire Youth Darts team, that is run from Droitwich Working Mens Club.
She joined the team last season and had a very successful campaign, taking six 'Lady of the Match' awards and the highest female average of the team with a 22.43 average.
A comment from the club read: "She has continued to work extremely hard to be given this opportunity. Not only does Hannah play for Worcestershire Youth but she also plays for the Women's B team for Warwickshire Seniors.
"It really is a huge achievement being picked to represent your country, well done Hannah! Worcestershire Youth wish you all the best for your England Girls debut!"
