THERE is another packed weekend of local rugby to get your teeth stuck into as well as the start of the 2023 Six Nations.
This is a key few months in the calendar for local clubs, who try and welcome those to games up and down the country before enjoying the big games on the TV screens.
So who is playing where this weekend?
The Regional West Midlands 2 sees crucial games at both ends of the table as we appraoch the latter stages of the 2022/23 season.
There is a local derby for Worcester RFC on Saturday when they go to bottom of the league Droitwich.
Having won two of their last three, Jonny Arr's men seem to have turned a corner after their poor run of form that saw them drop from second down to eighth.
As for the hosts, they still are yet to win a game this season and remain on zero points.
But they have shown some resilient performances in recent weeks and look like they will be able to finally pick up some sort of points efore the campaign concludes.
At the top of the division, Malvern RFC bounced back from two consecutive defeats to pick up their first win of 2023 last saturday at Evesham.
They are now 21 points off the league leaders Old Halesonians but with two games in hand.
They welcome second-placed Walsall to Spring Lane on Saturday, a team that thrashed them 42-0 at the start of the season. Revenge will be on the cards but Walsall remain on contention for the title and will be keen to keep the pressure on Old Hales.
The league leaders host Stratford-Upon-Avon as they aim to make it an incredible 15 wins in a row, but come up against the side that last beat them in September.
Elsehwere, Ludlow play Whitchurch, Hereford take on Wolverhampton and Evesham welcome an in-form Crewe & Nantwich.
