A PLACE in the semi finals of the Worcestershire County Cup is at stake for Worcester City Women this Sunday when they welcome Kingfisher Ladies to Claines Lane.
The match was initially due to take place at Kingfisher, but the game has been moved over to Worcester.
City will be looking to build on their decent display in a recent friendly, when they narrowly lost 5-4 to West Bromwich Albion Development.
That game was the first game of 2023 for City, who have not actually played a competitive match since the 2-2 draw with Shrewsbury Town Foundation at the start of December.
The winner of the tie between City and Kingfisher will play Kidderminster Harriers Women in the semi-final away from home.
Harriers thrashed Droitwich Spa Ladies 10-0 in their quarter-final tie, whilst the other semi has already been set-up. Bromsgrove Sporting Ladies FC Development will play Redditch Borough Firsts JW Women for a spot in the final.
