ONE of the former players at Worcester Warriors has landed a trial deal at a French second division club.
Scottish prop Murray McCallum has been signed on a short-term agreement with Pro D2 outfit US Montalbanaise.
Having been released from his contract at Warriors following the club going into administration, McCallum has spent time away with the Barbarians whilst looking for a new club.
Despite it not being an official contract, the former Edinburgh and Glasgow man will be hoping to impress during his 10-day spell with the club, who are coached by former Toulouse lock forward David Gérard.
McCallum becomes the 41st player to leave Worcester and have a deal. Although some of the short-term deals for some players has already ended (those with *).
