Local boxing sensation Caitlyn Wise has become a national champion after a split-decision win.
Wise, of Worcester City Amateur Boxing Club, made history as she becomes the first junior female boxer from the club to win a national title.
She was crowned NABCS National Champion after beaten the reigning champion Cuddy Thomas from the same amateur gym that produced Anthony Joshua.
Wise had a slow start in the first round but clawed it back in the second with the most telling punches and by the third round, was getting on top and in total control.
She went on to and win by a split decision and she will now be boxing in Sweden in February 2023, looking for an international medal to add her to haul.
