WORCESTER City boss Chris Cornes has turned to another of his former players to join him at Claines Lane amongst three new signings ahead of the club's MFL Premier clash at Whitchurch Alport.
Former City, Worcester Raiders and Malvern Town front man Kyonn Evans has signed on the dotted line with City, having spent time at the club back in 2018.
Striker Evans has worked under Cornes at both Raiders and most recently, Bewdley Town, where he established a brilliant relationship with another new City signing, Dylan Hart.
"Kyonn is a player I’ve worked with for a number of years, and the role I play him in, in my teams, there aren’t many better at this level to carry that out," said Cornes.
"He’s the perfect spoil for Dylan and they’ve struck up such a great understanding, and that understanding will be quickly struck with other players in the team and I’m hoping goals won’t be an issue going forward.
"Kyonn has been at the club before, and another one that has matured on and off the pitch and is integral to how I want us to play football."
As well as Evans, Cornes has also brought in full-back Joe Hunt on dual registration terms from Evesham United.
Hunt came through the youth system at Cheltenham Town before he made a loan move to Evesham United last season where he has remained until now.
"Joe is a player I’ve known for a couple of years now," added the boss.
"He’s captained Cheltenham’s Academy team and his pedigree is very good. His communication skills for a young lad are strong, which we need in this young squad.
"He has just come back from a knee injury which has scuppered his season so far, but I know he’s excited to kick start his season now."
Finally, the last arrival is Alex Worley on dual terms with Stourbridge FC.
Alex is a left sided centre-half and the 19-year-old is very well-regarded by the management team at Stourbridge.
