IT is another big afternoon for Stourport Swifts in the Buildbase FA Vase this weekend as they look to continue with their love affair in the competition.
Having reached the fourth round in 2020, Swifts have usually impressed in this competition and will look to equal that showing this weekend with a tough trip to Atherstone Town in the third round.
The Swifts have enjoyed a successful season to date and sit fourth in the Midland Football League Premier but have lost their last two.
The Adders, in the same league, they sit four points behind their opponents after being promoted to this division in the summer.
They have not lost at home since the middle of October in all competitions, which makes it a big ask of Quentin Townsend's side.
But it's knockout football this afternoon for both and a chance to reach the fourth round, which is then just four games away from a Wembley final trip.
There is also the pull of some added prize money with victory, the winning side taking £1,125 and the losing side pocketing £350.
The draw for the fourth round will then be made on Monday and both of these teams will be desperate to be involved.
The money rewarded to winning sides in round four is £1,875.
