FORMER Worcester Warriors players starred over the weekend as Bath, Northampton Saints and Saracens all picked up wins in the Gallagher Premiership.
15 of Bath's 17 points were scored from player's signed from Sixways following Worcester going into administration, as Ted Hill and Ollie Lawrence both scored tries, with Billy Searle coming off the bench and scoring a conversion and penalty to seal a 17-10 victory over Newcastle Falcons.
Centre Lawrence has been gaining rave reviews for his performances in the blue, black and white since joining the club and has been nominated for player of the month in the Premiership.
Hill also shined on his first start, scoring a try and also being in contention for man of the match.
That came the day after Fin Smith put in a man of the match performance of his own for Northampton Saints in their 26-19 win over Exeter Chiefs on Friday evening.
The fly-half scored 16 points (four penalties and two conversions) from the tee to guide his new side up the table into fourth.
As for Saracens, Andrew Kitchener, Gareth Simpson and Tom Howe all featured off the bench for the visitors in their 25-10 win at Bristol Bears on Saturday night.
Joe Batley and Jay Tyack were both in the starting 15 for the Bears.
