Worcester RFC will be looking to respond to back-to-back defeats this weekend as round nine of the Regional 2 West Midlands swings around this Saturday.
But they will be up against it as they host the league leaders Ludlow to Westons Field.
The away side suffered their first defeat of the campaign last weekend at home to Hereford and will be looking to bounce back straight away against a Worcester side potentially low on confidence.
As for Malvern, their five-match winning streak will be under serious threat as they make the trip to a red-hot Hereford outfit.
The hosts on Saturday have won seven games in a row and last weekend ended league leaders Ludlow’s perfect start to the 2022/23 campaign.
Malvern have themselves won five on the spin after last Saturday’s thrashing of Evesham and that result took them fourth in the table, but they will be well aware of the task they face tomorrow afternoon as the ante is upped considerably on previous matches.
Elsewhere, Evesham and Droitwich are both at home against Old Halesonians and Stratford-Upon-Avon respectively, looking to move themselves off the bottom of the table.
Droitwich are without a point this season, whilst Evesham have only picked up one win in their eight games.
The other games see Crewe & Nantwich host Walsall and Wolverhampton welcome Whitchurch.
