THIS weekend sees a number of local derbies as the Regional Two West Midlands campaign reaches round seven.
High-fliers Worcester RFC and Hereford go head-to-head at Westons Field as second meets third in the table.
Worcester have began the 2022/23 season in flying fashion with five wins from six and sit just five points off league leaders Ludlow, who have taken a perfect 30 points from a possible 30 so far.
Visitors Hereford have just a point less than Worcester but have also won five of their six games and arrive at Offerton Lane on the back of a narrow 19-13 win over Evesham last weekend.
Elsewhere, Malvern will look to pick up their first away win of the season when they head to bottom of the league Droitwich on Saturday.
The visitors have won all four of their matches at home this season but are yet to win away and come up against a Droitwich side who have lost all six of their games to begin the new campaign.
Evesham will be right up against it this Saturday as they host the league leaders Ludlow.
Evesham took a losing bonus-point in that evenly contested game with Hereford last weekend but have only picked up one win this season.
Ludlow are in red-hot form and average almost 40 points per game, so the hosts have it all to do.
The other games in the division see Old Halesonians make the trip to Crewe & Nantwich and Wolverhampton host Stratford Upon Avon.
