Worcester Raiders' home FA Vase game against Westfields has had to be moved due to the ongoing financial crisis at Sixways.
The cup tie, scheduled for a 3PM kick-off at Sixways on Sunday September 25, will now take place at Westfields' Allpay Park on the same date at the same time as the original fixture.
The reason behind the switch is due to the fact there are no trained personnel available to take down the rugby posts on the pitch, which will be used for Worcester Warriors' home rugby match against Newcastle Falcons, this Saturday.
In addition, there will be no grounds staff to repaint the lines for football.
This is all because staff at the rugby club are currently not being paid as the financial crisis deepens.
A Raiders' statement read: "Unfortunately, due to the current situation at Sixways Stadium, we are unable to host Sunday's FA Vase Second Round Qualifying tie against Westfields FC.
"The club have tried everything possible to get the match played at home for our fans and all visiting supporters who were set to travel to our ground. We moved the game to a Sunday to accommodate for Worcester Warriors' scheduled fixture.
"However, at this present moment, Sixways Stadium staff aren't receiving their pay. This means that the stadium will have no trained personnel available to take down the rugby posts on the pitch, which will be used for Worcester Warriors' home rugby match against Newcastle Falcons, this Saturday. In addition, there will be no grounds staff to repaint the lines for football.
"We would like to thank Westfields FC for understanding our current situation and agreeing to reverse the fixture at the same arranged time and date."
