JON Munday has not ruled out the possibility of playing for Worcester City again at some point in the future.

The 20-year-old defender is currently a free agent after he was released by Kidderminster Harriers following the end of his loan spell at St George's Lane.

During that time he became a firm favourite with the fans and put in a series of impressive performances.

In total, Munday made 20 appearances for City and scored twice, including the winner at Southport in January.

However, the former Queen's Park Rangers trainee harbours hopes of staying in the professional game and making it into the Football League.

But he is grateful to City manager Richard Dryden for giving him his chance and would one day like to join up with the team again, hopefully in the Blue Square Premier.

Munday said: "It's given me a massive chance as a lot of people have seen me play.

"It was so much better than Kidderminster because I was playing and I was enjoying my football. I was player-of-the-month for April and runner-up in a few of the others and it showed a few people I can play.

"I am hoping a few scouts and managers think the same thing. I am not with anybody at the moment. I am looking at my options for next season and talking to a few different people.

"But you never know in football. It may be a case of playing some football at the same level and waiting for the opportunity to come along."

He added: "If the opportunity came back up and Worce-ster got up I would love to play with them in the Conference and maybe that will be in a year or so's time."
