NUNNERY Wood Tigers Under 10s clinched the runners-up spot in the Stourport Youth League with a 2-1 win over Worcester Colts.

Tigers produced a gutsy second-half display to come back from a goal down and ensure a one-point lead over third-placed club-mates Leopards.

In a division dominated by Worcester clubs, Warndon Villages Sharks had already romped away with the title.

Tigers started nervously and Colts took the lead on five minutes through an own goal.

The visitors continued to dominate but created few clear-cut chances.

Only a brilliant save from keeper Adam Westbury denied a fine Colts effort early in the second period.

But Tigers switched on to impose themselves and James Ridge took control of midfield.

They eventually broke through with 10 minutes left via a Christian Eyles corner headed home powerfully by Ridge.

Tigers' winner arrived late on with a virtual carbon-copy of Colts' first effort, an own goal following Will Henshall's low, driven cross.

Nunnery Wood Leopards inflicted double-winners Sharks' first defeat of the season with a 2-1 away success.

In probably Leopards' best display of the season, they fell behind when Matt Sowden scrambled the ball into the net.

But Wood levelled before half-time through Joe Bates from Sam Hayes' fine pass.

Leopards took the game to Villages in the second period with Bates and Jack Ferman going close.

Late on, a good pass from midfield found Bradley Hunt who netted with an excellent strike across the keeper.

But Sharks ended their season with a victory, seeing off Wyre Forest Panthers 3-1.

The Worcester side went ahead when Callum Parker finished off Sowden's cross.

Sharks blocked an attempt by Panthers before a second goal through Sowden who rounded the keeper following Parker's through-ball.

In the second-half, Forest pulled a goal back and looked like getting an equaliser. But Jordan Slade bagged a crucial third strike with a fine lob.

UNDER 11s: Nunnery Wood Panthers ended up sixth in Division One with a 2-2 draw against Bewdley Town Royals.

Ben Williams met a corner to make it 1-0 at the interval but Royals deservedly equalised via a deflection.

The hosts restored their lead through Harry Clark's 17th goal of the season but Royals levelled for a second time before full-time.

UNDER 12s: Promoted Northside Colts finished their Division Two season with a 13-1 beating of Kinver Colts.

American keeper Nat Swyer played his last match before returning home in the summer.

Top-scorer Matt Armstrong opened the scoring on seven minutes following Cam Thorne's long throw.

Armstrong added a second with a chip and turned to drive home his 40th goal of the season before half-time.

Colts romped away with the second period with goals from Luke Williams (three), Armstrong, Connor Wise (two), Rhys Turberfield (three) and Thorne.

UNDER 18s: Champions Perrywood ended the Division Two campaign with a 3-1 win at Withymoor Colts East.

The away side struggled to find motivation until the first goal was scored by Dan Pitt on 20 minutes.

Pitt doubled the score soon after but Colts hit back with a scrappy goal.

However, goalkeeper Max Young fired home a penalty, awarded for handball, to complete the scoring.
