THREE Worcestershire schools are preparing to take part in the Daily Express Emerging Schools Rugby Festival.
They are among 48 who have qualified through county and regional tournaments for the national stages at Staines tomorrow.
The finalists from Staines will then play on the hallowed turf at Twickenham during the Babcock Trophy Army and Navy match, which is expected to attract a 40,000 crowd.
The Chase School, Malvern, are in the boys' under 12s competition, Hagley RC High School tackle the boys' under 13s contest and Worcester's Blessed Edward Oldcorne Catholic College are in the girls' under 14s competition.
The festival is designed to drive up participation at state schools who play little or no formal rugby.
More than 50,000 children have taken part since its launch in October last year.
