THE Bank Holiday weekend is busy with the Radnor and West Herefordshire Hunt holding their two point-to-point festivals tomorrow and Sunday followed by the North Ledbury Hunt meeting on Monday.

Radnor and West Hereford hold their meeting at Cold Harbour, near Leominster, and a 2pm first race time is planned for both days.

A six-race card has attracted 151 entries tomorrow followed by six races again with 211 entries on the Sunday.

Prolific winner Strong Weld heads the 20 entries for the Men's Open race tomorrow and will be looking for his fifth win of the season for trainer Nicky Sheppard and rider Liam Payter. Possible opposition comes from Darnil and Murphys Cardinal.

Sunday's meeting sees a four-mile Open race for the Crudwell Cup and Oracle Des Mottes will be strongly fancied to score, while opponents are Who Else Knew, Golden Jack and So Long.

A PPORA Novice riders' race with 34 entries received is also on the card and a division is likely in the young horse Maiden that has 40 entries.

The North Ledbury Hunt meeting at Maisemore Park on Monday is a seven-race card with 188 entries received and a 2pm start planned.

Strong Weld is also among the Open race entries for the Men's Open race, while others that could feature include previous winners Gaelsbob, Premium First, The Wee Bishop and Hambaphambil.

Honest Endeavour is likely to be sent off favourite for the Ladies' Open race if he takes up the engagement.

Rider Angela Rucker also has an able deputy in Pirate Flagship.

Other possibles include Perouse, Coole Venture and last weekend's Brampton Bryan winner Shafts Chance.
