KIDDERMINSTER Victoria made the Williamson Trophy semi-finals with a six-wicket win over newly-promoted Wolverhampton.
The sides meet again on Saturday in the Birmingham League Premier Division opener.
Arfan Khan's good opening spell gave KVCC a good start as they dismissed Wolverhampton for 165-8 from 40 overs.
Arfan took 2-28, Andy Siwicki 2-28 and Ted Baylis 2-34 as the bowling and fielding was good in general.
In reply, KVCC hit 167-4 in the 32nd over with Matt Brace batting sensibly for 42, Mark Mansell scoring 39 not out, Jonathan Wright 36no and Phil Shaw 22.
