OLD Vigornians lost in their final friendly to Alveley before the Worcestershire League Division Four season starts.
The Worcester visitors opened poorly after being put into bat in overcast conditions.
With the ball seaming, turning and bouncing, Nick Hutchings (35) was easily the best batsman.
Robbie Fardon made an aggressive 26, including one big six, and Phil Mackie chipped in with a lucky 22.
OVs were relatively happy with their first-innings total of 132 all out in a 40-over game.
Off-spinner Will Kerton (5-26) terrorised the opposition and Andy Howard broke his collarbone in two places when taking a diving catch.
Alveley collapsed from 77-1 to 96-7 but, after a dropped catch and spurned stumping appeal, the villagers reached the target with three overs left to bowl.
