HARRIERS' season in the Blue Square Premier ended in disappointment as they were outplayed at the Kingsfield Stadium.
The Aggborough side could not cope with Woking and were shot down by Matt Pattison's brace and a goal for Bradley Quamina.
Manager Mark Yates made one change from the side which defeated Burton Albion mid-week with 35-year-old keeper Chris MacKenzie returning to the side.
The keeper made a great save to deny Guissepe Sole in the sixth minute when he tipped Woking's top-scorer's goal-bound header over the bar.
Russ Penn forced a good save from Woking shot-stopper Nick Gindre in the 11th minute when he let fly with a raking 20-yard volley.
But Woking were starting to control the game and lanky lone striker Marvin Morgan was causing centrebacks Mark Creighton and Gavin Hurren problems.
Pattison opened the scoring in the 24th minute when he ploughed through several weak Harriers' tackles and slotted the ball past MacKenzie.
The visitors thought they had scored a leveller in the 30th minute when Iyseden Christie's header crashed off the bar.
As the ball dropped down, it looked over the line but Gindre punched the ball away and the referee ignored the players' claims that it was a legitimate goal.
Morgan should have doubled the home side's lead when he won the ball in the box but blazed over.
Harriers could not cope with Morgan's pace and power and he set up Quamina for Woking's second in the 55th minute.
Five minutes later, Morgan found Pattison, who rifled a low shot beyond MacKenzie.
The visitors struggled to get into the game and when they did make chances Christie was unable to take them.
Darryl Knights played Harriers' top-scorer into the box in the 71st minute but he shot over the bar.
In the end, Harriers were unable to stage a late fightback and will be glad to see the back of a disappointing season.
