HEREFORD United will be hoping to secure automatic promotion to League One today for the first time in 30 years or face having to do it without on-loan striker Gary Hooper.
Victory for the Bulls at Brentford today and should Stockport County fail to win at Barnet, would see Graham Turner's men reach the third tier of the Football League for the first time in three decades.
However, should they need to go into the final week of the campaign looking to secure that third and final automatic spot, then they will be without the skilful Southend United striker.
"We still believe that we have enough experience, know-how and ability to go up automatically," commented Turner.
The Shrimpers hitman has been in superb form for the Bulls after joining the Edgar Street side at the end of January.
Having formed a lethal partnership with fellow loanee Sherjill MacDonald from West Bromwich Albion, the 20-year-old netted 11 times prior to today's encouneter at Griffin Park.
But after this clash with the Bees, the Roots Hall outfit want him back to help their own promotion push from League One.
Whatever happens today, the Bulls will still have ch-ance to secure promotion next weekend when they host Grimsby.
