WORCESTERSHIRE Women began the campaign with a pair of friendly Twenty20 games against the RAF in Pershore.
In the first match, the County lost an early wicket but rattled along to 149-5 with Katie Blunt, Thea Brookes and Charlotte Holtom retiring on 31, 35 and 31 respectively.
The RAF openers struggled to get runs on the board in their 87-1 as Claire Orme retired on 31 and Harriet Lowe reached 32.
Worcestershire continued their unbeaten run in the second game which was reduced to 15 overs due to the light.
The RAF chose to field and the County made 102-6 with Naomi Heywood hitting 28 before being run out and Claire Boycott adding 24.
In reply, the RAF struggled to 54-6 with Vicky Barrett catching out top-scorer Jo Greaves for 15. Claire Styler took 2-11 off three overs.
Worcestershire, who did not lose last season, will compete in Division Four of the County Leagues, opening on May 18 at Staffordshire.
