KIDDERMINSTER Victoria progressed to the Williamson Trophy second round after a fine nine-wicket win at West Bromwich Dartmouth.
Worcestershire's Birmingham League Premier Division side bowled well to dismiss their hosts for 117 in 38.5 overs.
Mark Mansell took 3-8, Andrew Siwicki 2-17, Ag Khan 2-18 and Marc Derrick 2-33.
KVCC only required 21 of the 40 allotted overs to reach 118-1.
Neil Pinner followed his fine knock in a friendly against the County Academy with an unbeaten 64. Phil Shaw was not out with 29.
The Wyre Forest side entertain Wolverhampton on Saturday at Chester Road in the second round (1pm).
They also travel to Wolverhampton the following Saturday for the league opener.
