KIDDERMINSTER Harriers rounded off their Blue Square Premier home games in style by completing the double over Burton.
The visitors secured a play-off spot despite tonight's heavy defeat, while Harriers, who have lost just one of their last nine league games, boosted chances of a possible top-10 finish.
Darryl Knights headed Harriers ahead on 18 minutes after Matt Barnes-Homer powered down the right and supplied a low cross which the defence misjudged.
They doubled their lead three minutes later when top-scorer Iyseden Christie tapped in a cross from Barnes-Homer.
Three minutes before the break, Knights rifled in a superb third goal after Christie stepped over Russ Penn's pass.
Shaun Harrad volleyed a consolation for the visitors on 78 minutes but defender Gavin Hurren rose highest to head in sub Michael McGrath's corner two minutes from time.
Harriers: Coleman; Bignot, Hurren, Creighton, Ferrell (Harkness 90); Penn, Bennett, Russell (McGrath 80); Knights; Barnes-Homer, Christie (Smikle 63). Subs not used: MacKenzie, Howarth.
Attendance: 1,761.
