HEREFORD United chief Graham Turner has set his sights on a 100 per cent strike-rate between now and the end of the season.

The Bulls host bottom club Wrexham at Edgar Street tonight (7.45) in the first of three games that will ultimately decide if they achieve automatic promotion or end up in the play-offs.

United have to visit Brentford on Saturday and entertain Grimsby Town seven days later in their quest to secure a place in League One next season.

Turner's side were beaten 1-0 at home by Peterborough United at the weekend, a result which saw the Posh promoted along with Milton Keynes Dons.

However, he was more than pleased with his team's display and says the Bulls must continue to believe they can achieve a nine-point haul.

Turner said: "There are three games left. If we win all three we are promoted, it's as simple as that. It's also possible that we can drop points and go up but we need to aim to win all three.

"I don't think we played badly on Saturday, we certainly didn't deserve to lose it. I think we can play better but I thought we did well and created one or two good opportunities.

"We have got to maintain that belief in ourselves - that's important."

Defeat for Wrexham will effectively relegate the Welsh club as they would be six points behind Dagenham and Redbridge with just two games left. Turner, though, is not taking Brian Little's outfit for granted.

He said: "Wrexham are fighting for their lives and Brentford and Grimsby don't have much to play for.

"They can be awkward fixtures. Teams can go out, relax and enjoy playing or we might just be able to catch them soft-pedaling."

Keeper Wayne Brown (back) and defender Dean Beckwith (groin) have been struggling but are both expected to start.
