WHEN Worcester City visited Leigh RMI last season, Adam Webster scored in a 2-1 defeat.

The striker also struck all four goals in City's 4-1 victory at Hilton Park the season before.

How Richard Dryden's side could do with Webster's firepower in Lancashire for today's Blue Square North fixture.

City are enduring something of a drought in front of goal, having only scored twice in their last six games - both of those by defenders.

You have to go back to the win over Kidderminster Har-riers in the Worcestershire FA Senior Cup on March 17 for the last time a midfielder or forward found the net.

In contrast, Webster has been in prolific form since his hasty move from the St Geo-rge's Lane club to Hinckley United at the end of February.

In that time, the 27-year-old has scored no fewer than eight goals in nine appearances, including two against Leigh in only his third game.

"I would like to play against Leigh every week!" he said. "They seem to be a club I score against.

"I have had some good fortunate and I am hoping Worces-ter go to Leigh and get a result without myself, which I am sure they can."

But while City are trying to bring an end to six league games without a win, Webster will be trying to secure his new side another season in the non-league's second tier.

Victory at Vauxhall Motors would be enough to keep the Leicestershire club in the division and send Hucknall down in the final relegation place.

Webster said: "We are still not mathematically safe. If we win on Saturday then we are OK but we know that Hucknall have still got to win both of their games to stay up so we are in the driving seat. We have given it a massive go and it seems to be working."

He added: "It's really good, I couldn't have wished for a better start. I have settled in relatively quickly. We have had some good performances and results and I have managed to score some goals, which is nice."
