GAVIN Poupart clinched another victory in the Western Hilly 19-mile time trial in Somerset.
The cyclist, of the Pershore-based Echelon-SPIUK team, recorded a time of 45 minutes 25 seconds to beat his nearest rival Chris Madge, of Severn RC, by 38 seconds to record his fourth win of the season.
Brian Newton, Simon Osbourne and Alan Colbourne, a new member of the Echelon club, rode the Stratford CC 10-mile time trial.
Osbourne posted a personal best time of 23:36, Newton recorded 23:39 and Colbourne 26:15.
The event was won by Steve Price, of the Worcester St John's club, in 21:32.
Echelon staged a veteran 10-mile time trial and club member Newton was second in a time of 24:42 with Colbourne third in 26:46.
Rob Wood rode the Royal Sutton 64-mile road race and was in the leading pack of riders to take 15th place behind winner Mike Jones, of Paramount CC.
