WORCESTER City manager Richard Dryden is at a loss to explain his team's poor showing in the first-half of matches.
Time and again this season, City have only produced their best football when they have been chasing games.
It was a similar story as Redditch United secured a 2-1 aggregate Worcestershire FA Senior Cup victory with a 2-0 win at St George's Lane on Monday.
City's 1-0 first-leg advantage lasted all of 17 minutes, when Carl Heggs put Redditch ahead, and had been overturned just nine minutes later through Scott Rickards.
However, Worcester were much the better side after the break although they were unable to convert their chances into goals.
Boss Dryden said: "I think they were two very, very soft goals. You can't get turned like that 18 yards out and it's happened twice from two different players. It's poor errors and then we were chasing the game again.
"It's annoying. I am just sick and tired of us not starting right. We were superb in the second-half but we were 2-1 down over the two legs.
"But why get yourself in that situation before you start putting your foot on the ball, playing a bit and having a go and being solid? It's hard to put a finger on it.
"We need winners in that changing room and it's important we get a lot more in for next year. We have got good players in there and we have got to have the will to win.
"Redditch had the will to win. They battle fight, fight, leave their foot in and they're horrible to play against.
"I think we should have won the tie in the second-half but you can't give them a goal lead like we have been doing week, in week out for a long, long while."
He added: "We were at home, there was a big crowd and we wanted to win it for ourselves and everybody associated with the club, and it's disappointing to get beaten."
Dryden, however, was pleased with the way his team kept going, particularly after being down to 10 men for most of Saturday's 6-0 defeat at Blyth Spartans.
He said: "Redditch rested a lot of players against Barrow on Saturday and it gives a lot of respect to the cup.
"They were fresh but I think we looked the fitter side although we've played two games in three days and had a lot of travelling."
