THERE will now be a nervous wait for supporters, staff and players of Worcester Warriors as they wait to learn their fate.
THE RFU and Premiership Rugby issued the club with a midday deadline on Friday to have everything in place to safely stage the two matches at Sixways this weekend.
The Worcester News has been told that a 'short extension' to that deadline was requested by the club.
An initial meeting at the RFU was penned in for 12PM, before an announcement revealed at around 1PM.
Both the University of Worcester Warriors' Allianz Cup match with Harlequins on Saturday and Warriors' Premiership game on Sunday remain in doubt.
The RFU have stated that the club would be suspended from all competitions if they are not satisfied the club have the necessary means in which to safely host the matches at the stadium.
