WORCESTER Warriors director of rugby Mike Ruddock's youngest son Rhys will miss the chance to run out at Sixways on Sunday (3pm).
The Wales Under 18s international was hoping to face his counterparts from England, but torn ankle ligaments have meant that the flanker will be watching from the stands.
Ruddock senior is disappointed that his Dublin-born son will miss the chance to play on the ground where he is in charge at.
"We are a bit gutted that Rhys won't be able to play," the Warriors director of rugby said. "I was hoping to see my own son play at Sixways and get the Sixways experience."
The former Wales 2005 Grand Slam winning coach believes that England, coached by the Warriors' skipper Pat Sanderson's brother Alex, will try and dominate Wales up front.
"England will start as favourites because they beat Wales in a warm-up match," Ruddock. "They will try and use their traditional power upfront and dominate the Welsh players.
"It will be a contrast in styles with Wales trying to play an expansive rugby and England using their strength."
Ruddock believes that there will be plenty on show in Sunday's Sixways clash.
"Both teams will be stacked with talent," Ruddock said.
"It is going to be a very exciting game and I'm looking forward to seeing it."
Admission is priced at £10 for adults (£12 on the day) and £5 for juniors (£6 on the day). Limited on-site parking will also be available for £5 and must be purchased in advance.
