KIDDERMINSTER Harriers paid the price for missed chances as Salisbury City came from behind to win at Aggborough in the Blue Square Premier.

The hosts dominated the game for all but a 20-minute spell in the first half, when strikes by Liam Feeney and Robert Matthews cancelled out Russ Penn's strike.

Forward Iyseden Christie will hope he never has to face Salisbury keeper Ryan Clarke ever again, who saved the striker's first half penalty and also denied him after the break.

Harriers manager Mark Yates recalled the on-loan duo of Matthew Bailey and Darryl Knights into the side.

The hosts were given the perfect chance to open the scoring in the fifth minute after Russ Penn was brought down by City captain Aaron Cook in the box.

Christie's weak effort was saved by former Harriers shot-stopper Clarke.

The home team were still on top and Bailey flashed a shot across goal a minute late.

Penn opened the scoring and ended Harriers' three-game goal drought when he powered past Cook on the right wing, stepped inside and curled a shot past a helpless Clarke in the 11th minute.

French left-back Alex Jeannin saw a shot saved by Clarke in the 19th minute as Harriers pressed for a second goal.

Harriers continued to dominate but shot themselves in the foot to give Salisbury a leveller in the 25th minute.

Keeper Chris MacKenzie collided with Feeney on the edge of the box and the Salisbury striker was the first one up to score.

Four minutes later Salisbury completed the turnaround when Feeney's pacey run down the right exposed Harriers' defence and Matthews swept home his raking cross.

MacKenzie denied Salisbury with good saves against Feeney and Sandell, while Jeannin shot over late in the half.

Harriers dominated the second half but lacked the cutting edge to open up Salisbury.

The half's best chance fell to Christie in the 64th minute.

In a one-on-one with the keeper the hitman took a touch too much and Clarke blocked his shot and Salisbury held on to extend their unbeaten run.
