THIS Saturday's mouthwatering FA Cup clash between Worcester Raiders and Malvern Town will have added significance for a number of players.
Raiders' new centre-half pairing of Jay Sauntson and James Timmins both joined the club in the summer from Malvern, joining former Hillsider Joe Billingham at Sixways.
Whilst the derby makes this clash all the more exciting, the ex-Malvern trio three will have added motivation to get one over their old teammates.
Sauntson spent five years at the HDAnywhere Community Stadium and for the last two, partnered his younger cousin Adam in the middle of the defence.
But Saturday will see them go head-to-head for the first time.
"I have never played against my cousin," he admitted.
"It will be hard. It will be strange looking over at my dad and uncle stood together but it will be good, it's an exciting prospect.
"He's a good kid and of course I want him to do well, just not Saturday!"
Sauntson and Timmins will, most likely, partner each other in the red and black of Raiders this weekend as they look maintain their unbeaten start with their new club.
And even if it will take a little bit of getting used to, Sauntson is ready to do battle with those he used to play alongside.
"It's going to be weird going back, I might end up accidentally walking into the wrong changing room!" he said.
"I had a great five years there and I am still friends with a lot of them, fans as well, so hopefully it will be a nice atmosphere but obviously I am going there to win, I want to progress in the FA Cup with Worcester Raiders.
"I used to play against them all in training every week so I'm relishing the challenge of going head to head with them all on Saturday.
"It will be tough no matter what. I want to get the better of them but they're going to want to get the better of me as well.
"Milky (Matt Turner, Malvern Town striker) will probably relish the chance to play against me and JT (James Timmins, also signed from Malvern in the summer) but we will play our normal game and try to think of it as just that.
"We have to forget that were going back to Malvern and just go there and do what we do."
