BROMSGROVE Rovers caretaker boss Duane Darby is hoping his search for goalscorers will have reached an end by the time his team host Clevedon Town on Saturday (3pm).
The Rovers chief has been working overtime to bring players in after losing Richard Ball (cruciate ligmament) and Justin Jackson (Achilles) for the rest of the season.
The situation has been made more urgent as Rovers have failed to find the net in their last two British Gas Business Premier Division matches.
Darby has missed out on several targets in recent days but is hopeful of having three new players, including two strikers, signed for tomorrow's Victoria Ground clash.
He said: "We are struggling for bodies up front and we are struggling for goals.
"Behind the scenes for the last week we have been trying our best to get people in. I have spoken to umpteen managers in the Football League. I could have had some players but they didn't want to drop this low and others have gone to Conference clubs.
"Fingers crossed, hopefully we will have three players in by the weekend."
Striker Jozsef Jakab could return from illness to face Clevedon.
