TERRY Jenkins takes on Raymond van Barneveld in confident mood in the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts tonight having seen off Phil The Power' Taylor in his last outing.
The Ledbury thrower, who was winless in his first two matches this year prior to his 8-5 Taylor triumph, will do battle with the Dutch master in the final match of the eve-ning in front of a 3,000-plus capacity sell-out crowd at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
"I really needed the win over Phil because I have been struggling," said Jenkins. "I've been playing really well, but I needed something to happen to get me back on track.
"I think that will do it - there's nothing better for getting your confidence back than beating Phil."
Van Barneveld has won his first three matches in this year's competition after re-turning to the darts with which he won the Ladbrokes World Championship just over a year ago.
"I didn't feel comfortable with the other darts," said theDutchman.
