Worcestershire suffered a third Royal London Cup defeat in a row on Sunday as they were left to rue dropped catches in their four-wicket defeat to Yorkshire Vikings.
Ben Cox continued his good run of form with the bat to score 70 from 46 balls and together with Jake Libby's 59, Worcestershire posted a reasonable total of 246/8 from their 50 overs.
Yorkshire's George Hill was put down earlier in the innings before he went on to register a maiden List A century and his 130 played a large role in getting the hosts to within reach.
Vikings' Matthew Waite was also dropped in the deep as Worcestershire failed to take their chances and the home side eventually got the winning runs with 14 balls to spare.
Having lost on the opening day to Kent, the Rapids went down by 44 runs at Hampshire on Friday and came into the clash in Yorkshire looking to pick up their first win of the competition.
Having lost the toss, Yorkshire put the visitors into bat and Matthew Waite, who was confirmed as joining Worcestershire on Monday, took the early wickets of Ed Pollock (8) and Azhar Ali (7) in the fifth and seventh over.
Gareth Roderick (29) came in and looked in good touch and put on 43 with Libby before the former picked out deep square leg off Tom Loten.
Libby and Kashif Ali set about rebuilding the innings and added 42, but after taking the total to 94, Kashif (22) went back to cut spinner Jack Shutt and feathered through to the keeper.
Waite came back into the attack and had Ed Barnard caught for 12.
Libby (58) and Cox were going well before the former was caught not long after reaching his half century.
Cox (70) then turned on the afterburners and showed off a mixture of shots to accelerate the score past 200.
Taylor Cornall added 16 before he was bowled by Dom Bess and the Rapids eventually finished on 246/8.
They then made a good start to the Yorkshire innings as the hosts found themselves 37-3 after Dillon Pennington, Adam Finch and Joe Leach took a wicket each.
Hill and Vikings captain, Jonathan Tattersall, launched a recovery with a partnership of 87 in 16 overs.
But Hill survived a dropped chance at deep mid-wicket off Leach when on 53. The stand was eventually broken when Tattersall (45) chopped on to Pennington at 124-4.
Waite came in to accompany Hill and he was put down on 23 also in the deep off Azhar.
Hill reached three figures off 96 balls and added 76 with Waite (36), who was eventually run out by Barnard’s direct hit after Hill had pushed Cornall onto the off side.
Only six were needed when Hill’s fine knock ended on 130 when he found Azhar Ali at long on off Libby.
But the damage had been done and Matt Revis got them across the line.
It means Worcestershire remain bottom of the Group B table with three defeats from three.
