WORCESTER men's firsts crashed to a 4-1 defeat against North Stafford in the BodyK-raft Midlands Premier Divis-ion.

The hosts got off to the best possible start when Chris Adams took a quick free-hit at the top of the circle to pick out Phil Howell whose reverse stick shot beat the North Stafford keeper.

After taking the lead, Worcester started to allow mistakes creep into their game and two careless passes saw the visitors go 2-1 up at the interval.

Worcester's passing didn't get any better in the second-half and once again North Stafford took advantage to run out 4-1 winners.

The second team romped to a 7-0 victory at Whitchurch.

Worcester were dominant throughout and goals from C Miles, S Miles and M Richardson gave them a comfortable half-time lead.

That was stretched further in the second period with two goals from N Boot-Handford and one apiece for N Abimarvic and B Pittam.

The thirds let a two-goal lead slip in their clash with Barford Tigers.

York Senior gave Worcester the lead when he deflected Rob Mackichan's pass beyond the Tigers' keeper.

Mark Chambers doubled the lead from a short corner.

The Worcester defence held on well but two scrappy goals before the break gave the visitors parity and neither side could find a winner in the second-half.

The fourths came away from Edgbaston with a hard-fought 1-1 draw.

The point means that Worcester remain just above the drop zone in the Midlands Premier League.

Phil Jones fired the City side into the lead, only for Edgbaston to level after the break.

The sixths' J McLeod fired a hat-trick as they beat Warkwick fifths 5-2.

A Bowyer and S Hunday added the other goals.

Worcester sevenths picked up a comfortable 4-0 win over Sutton eighths.

The hosts took a 1-0 lead into the break from a short corner, before sealing victory with three second half strikes.

Barford Tigers were too strong for the Pippins as the hosts romped to a 6-0 win.

Three goals in each half could have been more but for some good saves by Jack Cook in goal.

Simon Dorrell struck twice as the Potters came away from Bromsgrove with a 3-1 victory.

Dorrell handed the visitors the lead when he drove the ball past the Bromsgrove keeper, before a reverse stick shot from Chris Young doubled the lead.

The Potters made it 3-0 when Dorrell lifted the ball over the hosts custodian before the break,.

Bromsgrove grabbed a consolation goal after the interval.
