DROITWICH were on the wrong end of a five-goal thriller in the West Midlands Premier League against Old Halesonians.
Nick Bates gave the hosts something to fight for in the second-half as his goal meant Droitwich went in at the break trailing 2-1.
Old Halesonians restored their two-goal lead early in the second period and this all but sealed victory for the visitors.
However, Droitwich made them fight all the way with a gutsy and determined display, before Alex Littlejohn pulled a goal back.
Droitwich Spa crashed to high-flying Worcester 4-0 in a rearranged game.
The opening 10 minutes showed Worcester it wasn't going to be easy. Neil Davies did well to ensure that Worcester only led 2-0 at the interval.
Droitwich battled well in the second-half and came close to scoring, however, Worcester grabbed two more goals.
