A TALENTED 12-year-old gol-fer is celebrating after shooting an amazing two holes-in-one in a week at The Vale Club.
Ben Robinson recorded his first ace' with a three wood on the par three 179-yard 14th hole of the Pershore-based club's International Course.
Just five days later, the Bromsgrove Preparatory Sch-ool pupil shot his second hole-in-one - using the same club - but this time on the par three 164-yard third hole of the challenging course.
Robinson said: "I'm really chuffed and quite surprised. Both holes-in-one were made with the same ball - but unfortunately I lost it in the water just four holes later, playing the 18th."
Delighted dad Jeremy, who is a former Walker Cup player and established member of the European Tour, said: "He may be my son, but it's undoubtedly an incredible achievement and I'm very proud.
"I've had five holes-in-one, I even won a car in the French Open in 1995 for shooting one during the competition, but I've never had two in a week."
Although it's traditional for anyone shooting a hole-in-one to buy a round of drinks for everyone in the clubhouse, young Ben was not obligated to spend his pocket money.
Instead his dad put money behind the bar to celebrate his son's playing prowess.
Ben, from Worcester, has been playing golf for four years and plays off a12 handicap. Both he and his father are members of The Vale Golf Club.
General Manager Melanie Drake said: "I'm thrilled for Ben. It's a fantastic achievement for anyone to get a hole-in-one, let alone someone of his age to succeed twice in a week.
"We only have a hole-in-one at the club about three times a year and we've never had a 12-year-old shoot one before.
"In recognition of his incredible achievement we are going to renew Ben's annual membership free of charge."
The Vale boasts both an 18-hole International Course and a nine-hole Lenches Course, a driving range, a golf shop, and tuition and equipment hire. In addition there is a restaurant and bar and function facilities.
