PEGASUS Juniors crashed to a 3-1 home defeat in the Hellenic Premier Division to Ardley United.
Two goals in as many minutes midway through the first half all but sealed the game for the visitors.
Ardley took the lead when they won a corner and as the kick was sent over keeper James Morgan appeared to be fouled. Lying on the ground the ball bounced free to Ian Trott who scored from close range after a goal mouth scramble.
Morgan was again in the action as he was adjudged to have fouled striker Chris Hill inside the penalty area and Danny Mason stepped up to despatch the spot kick.
Five minutes after the break Ardley should have put the game beyond doubt when Leon Gordon failed to find the target with only Morgan to beat.
In the 55th-minute Pegasus broke up an Ardley attack and Bobby Aldrich surged forward.
He he slipped the ball to Cory Hyde and the striker pulled it back to Chris Mortlock to net his second in three games from six yards.
The home side were caught on the break as Ardley scrambled a third goal.
Hill appeared to push Mark Smith to the ground as the two raced for the ball, the front man had his shot parried by Morgan but it bounced into the path of Tom Green to score from close range.
