WORCESTER Wolves director of basketball Mick Donovan praised his side's character after they sealed a last-gasp 67-66 British Basketball League victory over Leicester Riders.
However, he was quick to add that the University of Worcester-based outfit need to find more consistency to their game.
He said: "Once again it was a Jekyll and Hyde performance by our team. We will continue to work on the down side yet, at this stage, it is vital to recognise the strength of character that was shown in the final stages as a defeat would have made our target of making the play-offs a very difficult one.
"When we had to deliver and show nerve at the critical stage, we did it. However, no one within the club is naive enough to believe that we will win many more games with this lack of consistency within our play. We still have some of the best characters and individuals within the league and we are still in their fighting."
Wolves head coach Skouson Harker added: "We are aware that we have work to do. At times we created great intensity defensively and their total score confirms that we are improving in this area.
"The points did dry up for us, yet the most important thing is that we secured the win and we now have another week to get things right."
